Dialup Support


Setting Up Your Dialup Account:


Windows 95/98: Double Click "My Computer" found on the desktop. Double Click "Dial-up Networking". Double Click "Add New Connection". Follow the wizard thru entering the requested information.

Windows ME: Click "Start" > "Settings" > "Dial-up Networking" > Double Click "Add New Connection". Follow the wizard thru entering the requested information.

**Please keep in mind that the ultimate deciding factor in determining if a dial-up number is a local call for you is your local calling plan. If you have any questions, please call your local telephone company.


Dialup Connection Problems


If your having problems connecting to the internet please verify that you have the correct username/password combination for your account. Also verify that the phone number your dialing to is correct. If you feel your account may have been disabled please contact our office and discuss the problem. Accounts may be disabled due to billing issues. Please have the error written down or handy when calling tech support as that will help further the call along.


Email Support


If you are having a problem with your email make sure your settings are all correct, and verify that you have the following information entered correctly:

Incoming Mail Server (POP3): mail.briskweb.net
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.briskweb.net
